Kyle Mounts

Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer

Prior to co-founding Aero X Ventures and AeroX, Inc., Kyle Mounts served as Portfolio Manager for iGnosis Capital from 2019 to 2022. In his role, he Led investment strategy, deal negotiation, Key Performance Indicator performance, market execution and operational oversight for several early-stage companies, taking active roles within portfolio companies as President, Strategic Advisor and board member. As an operator, he served as President of an FAA certified Part-135 on-demand charter operation of turbine aircraft, President of a Part-141 flight training school, and Founder/President of a newly formed Part-145 MRO company.


Prior, he served as President of Zingo, a fintech payment data collection company, where he led the team and business strategy through crucial growth cycles, which eventually led to a strategic exit with Credit Sesame, Inc. in 2020.

Prior to his role with Zingo, Kyle worked with Wells Fargo from 2011 to 2019. In his final role as VP and Senior Private Wealth Banker, he successfully led internal teams and processes on complex multi-million-dollar financial strategies and solutions for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals and Founder-Led operating companies. His total book of business was valued at over $1 Billion in deposits/investments, and over $300M in credit exposure.

Kyle has 10+ years in finance, specializing in seed series and series A investment, leverage strategies, company valuation, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI development. He held his Series-7 and 66 license from 2013-2019. In his career, he has successfully led and trained sales teams, some of over 85 sales representatives; identified and directly advised on the acquisition and construction of multi-million-dollar investment commercial real estate projects; self-identified new strategic partnerships and led the redevelopment and execution of new marketing strategies that resulted in increased sales revenue and net profits; and re-engineered new management processes and procedures with vendor contracts, IT systems management, and business ventures that resulted in increased profit.
